Honda East Toledo
In 1984, Motorcycle Sales & Service, located at 5523 Woodville Road on the east side of Toledo, Ohio, sold. The facility became Lettin' Loose Honda.
1986 Upon receiving approval for a new powersports franchise agreement with Honda, Lettin' Loose Honda was purchased.
1986 Honda East opened in the previous location of Lettin' Loose Honda as a Honda-only powersports dealership.
In 1987 Trio Honda was purchased. Trio Honda was located in Toledo at the corner of Sylvania Avenue and Lewis Street.
1989: Added Yamaha vehicle sales and service to the Honda East offering.
1989: Trio Honda location closed.
1989: The Honda East facility moved to a new location on the east side of Toledo at the corner of Pemberville Road and Woodville Road.
1990: Toledo Lawn & Power was purchased. The retail location for Toledo Lawn & Power then migrated to 5523 Woodville Road.
1990: Polaris sales and service was added through the acquisition of Toledo Lawn & Power.
1991: Honda East added Suzuki powersports sales and service.
1991: Southwyck, Honda located in Maumee, Ohio, went out of business.
1992: Moved Honda East to a new facility (originally Southwyck Honda) in Maumee, Ohio, on Conant Street, just south of Toledo.
1992: Polaris franchise agreement for sales and service was transferred to Honda East from Toledo Lawn & Power.
1996: Added Bombardier Sea-Doo sales and service.
1996: Purchased Shamrock Kawasaki in Genoa, Ohio.
1996: Added Kawasaki sales and service to the Honda East facility in Maumee, Ohio.
1999: Added Polaris Victory sales and service to Honda East.
1999: BRP Can-Am, formerly Bombardier added. Can-Am ATVs were approved for Honda East sales and service.
2003: Honda watercraft line created. Honda AquaTrax added to sales and service offering.
2004: Honda East was added as an Aprilia sales and service dealership.
2005: Bought out the D.Z. Barn facility at Reiman Road in Genoa, Ohio.
2005: Added Arctic Cat sales and service as a result of the D.Z. Barn acquisition.
2005: BRP Ski-Doo sales and service added through the purchase of D.Z. Barn.
2008: BRP Can-Am Spyder sales and service added to the Honda East spectrum in March 2008.
